Revised MXGP Calendar Announced

10 years ago | Photos: MXGP

A revised 20-round calendar for the 2017 FIM Motocross World Championship has been released, featuring new venues such as Pangkal Pinang in Indonesia and Baldasserona in San Marino. Uddevalla (Sweden) will also return, while the MXGP of France will return to Ernée; the venue that has a grip on the hearts of thousands of fans after hosting the FIM Motocross of Nations in 2005 and 2015. And unfortunately, Australia won’t be hosting a round next year.

The MXGP of Italy will now take place at Maggiora in June, while the MXGP of Trentino will be the first European round of the 2017 series and will take place at Pietramurata in April.

The EMX125 classes have been switched from Russia to Sweden and the EMX300 from Sweden to Russia.

*Note: Revisions (in bold) have been made to the 2017 calendar on Wednesday the 23rd of November 2016.
