2026 6DAYS TEAM AUSTRALIA NAMED

The 100th edition of the FIM International Six Days Enduro is shaping up as one of the most significant in the event’s long history, and Australia will be well represented when the gates open in Grandola, Portugal from October 12-17. Motorcycling Australia has confirmed a 10-rider squad that blends three ISDE debutants with a core of riders who know exactly what it takes to perform on the world stage.

In the World Trophy squad alongside Kyron Bacon, Gus Riordan and Korey McMahon is enduro stalwart Josh Strang – a tireless campaigner whose Team Australia WT victory at the 2018 ISDE speaks to his durability. Bacon arrives in strong form after a standout 2025 ISDE campaign that saw him finish sixth overall, while Strang and Riordan have both been producing the goods in the 2026 Grand National Cross Country Series. McMahon, meanwhile, is chasing back-to-back E3 titles at the AusEnduro Championship.

In the Junior World Trophy, Will Dennett returns for his second ISDE after debuting in 2024 – and in what’s already been a huge year for the 20-year-old, he’s also embarking on his first season in the FIM EnduroGP World Championship. Joining him are two debutants: Riley McGillivray, a former junior star who has collected first, second and third in E3 at the top level over the past three years, and 19-year-old Kogan Lock, who won the junior class in AusEnduro last year before making an immediate impact in the senior E2 ranks in 2026.

The Women’s World Trophy lineup is equally compelling. Australian Motorsport Hall of Famer Jess Gardiner and the in-form Danielle McDonald – who is currently taking the American enduro scene by storm in 2026 – are joined by 18-year-old Madi Simpson, whose dynamic form in the Yamaha Australian Enduro Championship has earned her a first ISDE call-up. Australia finished second in the WWT at the 2025 ISDE behind the United States, and will be pushing hard to go one better in Portugal.
