HOW-TO: CREEK CROSSINGS

Late last year, every meteorological expert under the sun was banging on about El Nino and the super-hot and dry weather patterns it was set to create over Xmas and into early 2024. Well, something went tits-up with their weather modelling because, as most people on Australia’s entire eastern seaboard would now know, it’s been one of the wettest few months on record.
Of course, if you’re into dirt bikes, that’s not the worst news on earth. Though it is a reminder that it’s probably high time to brush up on your skills when it comes to those often-tricky and nerve-racking creek crossings aboard your dirt bike.
So, join us as we tap former Pro rider (and current-day professional cowboy!), Tye Simmonds, for his advice on how to deal with these pesky liquid obstacles that you’re more than likely to encounter over the coming month or two, and keep yourself safe and (relatively) dry in the process.
