REVEALED: KTM’S 2027 ADVENTURE RALLYE HEADS TO THE VIC RANGES

KTM Australia’s Adventure Rallye celebrates its landmark 10th edition in March 2027 with an all-new southwest Victoria route – Ballarat, the Grampians and the Great Ocean Road across five days and 1500km – and, for the first time, bundled accommodation packages. Just 130 spots, with rego opening 20 August.

Every adventure rider carries a mental list of the trips they’ll get to ‘one day’. For a fair chunk of the Orange faithful, KTM Australia’s Adventure Rallye sits right at the pointy end of that list – and in 2027 the event notches up a genuine milestone, rolling out its 10th edition.

This time the playground is southwest Victoria, and on paper it’s a ripper: a five-day, 1500km loop out of the old gold-rush city of Ballarat, west into the Grampians, then south to the Great Ocean Road – with overnighters at Port Campbell and Lorne – before threading back through the towering forests of the Otways. Full KTM support the whole way, so all you’ve got to do is ride.

The headline change for the 10th running is that accommodation is now baked into the deal – pick a package at registration and your six nights are sorted, all within walking distance of each night’s Bivouac. A welcome move, given sorting beds has always been the fiddly bit of a trip like this. Here’s the full run-down from KTM Australia…

The KTM Australia Adventure Rallye: VIC Ranges returns in 2027 for its landmark 10th edition, taking riders on an unforgettable journey through the heart of southwest Victoria from 14–19 March 2027.

The event will begin and conclude in Ballarat, the historic gold-rush city renowned for its rich heritage and vibrant character. After an opening loop day around Ballarat, the route heads west to Halls Gap, gateway to the majestic Grampians. From there, the adventure continues south to Victoria’s iconic Great Ocean Road, with overnight stops in Port Campbell and Lorne, before completing the journey with a final return to Ballarat.

More than just a ride, the KTM Australia Adventure Rallye brings riders together to celebrate the very best of adventure motorcycling – camaraderie, discovery and unforgettable experiences on two wheels. With KTM’s industry-leading support package, local expert route development, special points of interest and challenging Breakout Routes for those seeking an extra challenge, the KTM Australia Adventure Rallye delivers a premium adventure riding experience unlike any other.

A major addition for the 2027 event is the introduction of included rider accommodation packages. Riders simply select their preferred accommodation package during registration and secure six nights of accommodation with the click of a button. All accommodation is located within walking distance of the nightly Bivouac, with both solo and share options available.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

  • 5 days, 1500km of adventure riding
  • Lead riders, course markers & GPS files
  • Luggage, tech, tyre and medic support
