Fox Racing signs up-and-coming star Jayden Archer

Leading motocross apparel manufacturer Fox Racing Australia have formerly recognised the talents of young up and coming Motocross and Freestyle Motocross star Jayden Archer, by signing the 15 year old as their team’s newest recruit.

Archer, whilst having placed in numerous state and national junior Motocross and Enduro championships, recently stunned the industry by becoming the youngest person on record ever to back flip a motorcycle over the full competition distance of 75 feet. He did so under the watchful eyes and guidance of fellow Victorian and current X Games gold medalist, Cam Sinclair. Sinclair, a long time family friend of the Archers has somewhat taken the youngster under his wing, with the pair practising together regularly.

“I guess I kind of see Jayo (Jayden) as my protégé. He has amazing talent on the bike and when I give him tips or things to try, he takes them on board and always gives it a shot. I also think he’s a great kid and really want to see him go all the way whether it be in FMX or racing- although I have advised him that FMX is far more fun!” Laughed Cam Sinclair.

Not many 15 year olds can say they have the opportunity to ride with the best in the world on a regular basis and riding with the likes of Cam Sinclair is a luxury Archer plans to use to his full advantage.

“I’m so lucky to get to ride with guys like Cam. I can learn so much from his experience. Whether it be on the track racing or working on my freestyle, he has been there and done that before. I am really thankful for the support he has given me over the years! Getting the chance to ride for Fox is also like a dream come true for me. I really can’t explain how awesome it is to be a part of their team.” Jayden Archer said.

Whilst his recent back flipping antics are what projected Archer into the Freestyle Motocross spotlight recently, racing Motocross and Supercross is still very much a priority. His versatility and determination is a key factor for Australia’s Fox Racing team manager Mick Sinclair.

“We’ve had our eye on Jayo for a long time now and watched him grow as a racer and FMX rider. Wherever his future lies, we’re certain it is going to be a great one and we welcome him to the team. Fox looks forward to working with Jayo for many years to come.” Mick Sinclair said.
