Scott has been putting a lot of thought and development into their range of goggles with new and innovative features such as their Light Sensitive Lenses and Dual Lens System in their Enduro range of goggles. But what has Scott updated in their much-loved Prospect goggle for the 2020 season?
Let’s find out what Scott have to say…

Scott goggles have always been a quality product on the market. Boasting the thickest lens in the industry, the all-new no sweat face foam, a massive field of vision and Scott’s proprietary lens lock system, the prospect MX goggle delivers on all fronts.

Field Of Vision

Scott are proud to offer the largest field of vision on the market with the prospect goggle. Field of vision is the result of 3 key elements:

Lens Perimeter: We increased the lens height while lowering the nose design to create the largest possible lens and reduce visual obstruction.

Frame Thickness: The closer the lens is to the eye, the larger the field of vision is. If a frame is too thick, you get a “tunnel effect”. The Prospect was designed slim to avoid this.

Lens Curvature: We curved the lens to the maximum in order to achieve maximum peripheral vision.

Face Foam

Big 3 Layer Face Foam: SCOTT’s 3 Layer Face Foam incorporates two layers of foam and one “No Sweat” layer to provide maximum comfort.

No Sweat Face Foam: This unique face foam consists of a red microfiber layer which is extremely water absorbing. It soaks up moisture super fast and avoids sweat getting into your eyes or inside the goggle.

Lens Lock System

The SCOTT Lens Lock System features 4 locking pins that go through the lens. No matter which impact, it guarantees that the lens is not popping out. In addition, a thicker lens material (1mm) is used to make the lens even more resistant than before. For changing the lens, you simply need to open the 4 tabs (2 at the top, 2 at the bottom) to remove the lens from the frame in seconds.
