The EN92 replaces the EN91 as Dunlop’s flagship FIM competition enduro offering. And for those who prioritise extreme-terrain traction over longevity, there’s an all-new EN92 Soft.

For the past five or six years, Dunlop’s Geomax EN91 tyres – an FIM-approved competition enduro range – have proved popular with trailriders and racers alike. But they’re about to be replaced by the all-new EN92 range, which have been designed with more compliance (and embraced some MX-tyre tech) for added traction across a broader range of enduro terrain. Plus, there’s an all-new EN92 Soft option (front and rear) to suit more technical terrain.

How do these all-new Geomax EN92 tyres fit into Dunlop’s off-road tyre range? To help get your head around it, here’s a snapshot of the information and imagery Dunlop sent us about their new EN92 tyre range…

MORE TRACTION. MORE CONTROL. MORE CONFIDENCE.

Building on the success of the highly regarded Geomax EN91, the new EN92 has been developed to deliver improved versatility, increased traction, greater rider confidence and stronger performance across a broader range of enduro terrain and riding conditions. The range also introduces a new EN92 Soft specification, extending the tyre’s capability into more challenging and technical terrain.

Dunlop’s latest FIM-approved competition enduro tyre is designed for riders competing in or participating in enduro, cross-country and technical trailriding environments. It directly replaces the EN91 as Dunlop’s flagship FIM enduro offering.

KEY FEATURES & TECHNOLOGIES

The following technology is utilised on both EN92 and EN92 SOFT tyres:

V-Block Technology (Rear): New rear tread design incorporates Dunlop’s V-Block Technology (V-BT), developed to improve forward drive while maintaining controllable sliding characteristics. This technology was inspired by Dunlop’s successful motocross tyre development programs.

Enhanced Front Pattern Design: The EN92 front tyre features revised block positioning and land ratio distribution to increase grip, reduce kickback on hard surfaces and rocks, improve steering precision, and deliver more confidence across varying terrain conditions.

Progressive Cornering Block Technology (PCBT): Updated block designs on both front and rear improve cornering grip by increasing block flexibility and creating additional working edges during lean angles.

Revised Carcass and Sidewall Profile: A new rounded sidewall profile improves shock absorption, compliance, rider comfort, and grip over roots, rocks, and trail obstacles.
