Crusty Demons rock Adelaide

The Crusty Demons Thirst 4 Destruction arena spectacular rocked the Adelaide Entertainment Centre tonight with a capacity crowd of close to 7000 witnessing the world’s best FMX riders at full flight.

Fans got close to the action as the venue’s colosseum-like layout provided the perfect vantage point of the spectacular setup which makes a popular return to its dirt heritage for the five-stop tour.

Ramps of all sizes saw a two-hour show of wicked whips, flips and combo’s thrown down.

Fans saw the uncovering of new sensation, Australia’s first female FMX rider Emma McFerran, plus the mega versus mini moment when Crusty legends Seth Enslow and Bubba introduced 6-year-old Jasyn Roney.

Ben Fiez’ spectacular mini bike double-flip didn’t come to fruition, but Jackson Strong’s fearless front flip did, bringing the crowd and fellow riders to their feet.

Kain Saul was another showstopper, successfully backflipping his Harley-Davidson to dirt.

With his injured wrist not yet fully healed, Robbie Maddison still played a huge part in the show, revving up the crowd in his role alongside MC Jerry Bernardo.

Deafening applause inside the arena gave way to glowing accolades from fans outside.

“The best live show we’ve seen for a long time – it had everything and it was awesome to see a full dirt setup,” said one.

“These guys just keep raising the bar, they’re just fearless,” said another.

“The lineup was huge. We were stoked to see so many big name international riders in with the Aussies.”

Melbourne is the next stop on the tour, with Rod Laver Arena set to be converted to dirt for the Saturday October 30 show.
