The Beta Australia Enduro Team continued their 2025 campaign at Rounds 5 and 6 of the Australian
Enduro Championship (AEC) in Tintinara, South Australia, over the weekend – facing dry, sandy, and physically demanding conditions that tested both skill and endurance. Jye Dickson dominated the day on Sunday aboard the RR480 Race, winning the round outright and delivering Beta’s first outright (Pro Enduro) victory.

Saturday’s action featured a cross-country format over three hours, with riders completing eight laps of a
punishing track. Victorian rider Andy Wilksch rode consistently aboard his Beta RC450 4T to finish fourth
outright and third in the E2 class. Teammate Jye Dickson suffered vision issues due to the heavy dust, and fell back from the lead pack, but still managed to secure third in the E3 class. Ebony Nielsen also found the conditions challenging, finishing fifth in the EW class.

Sunday’s sprint format brought a shift in momentum, with riders taking on six tests across more deep
sandy conditions. Dickson came out firing aboard his RR480 Race, winning five of the six tests. His
dominant performance earned him first place outright in the Pro Enduro Class and first in E3, delivering Beta Australia its first-ever outright Pro Enduro victory. Andy Wilksch also impressed, finishing third in the first test and second in two others. He wrapped up the day with second place in E2 and third outright in the Pro Enduro Class. Ebony Nielsen bounced back with a consistent ride, finishing third in the EW class.

The team now turns their focus to Round 7 and 8 of the AEC, set for June 28–29 in Casterton, Victoria.

Jye Dickson:
“I struggled with the dust on Saturday, which caused vision issues and affected my riding. Sunday was a
big turnaround for me. I knew I had the pace, i just had to stay consistent. It was a great day, taking out my first outright win. The Beta RR480 Race felt great all weekend.”

Andrew Wilksch:
“It was a very physical weekend, with over four hours of riding in rough sandy conditions but the Beta RC450 was faultless. I’m happy to come away with good results and move up to third in the Pro Enduro standings.”

Ebony Nielsen:
“The rough sandy conditions were’t my strong suit, but I continued to push and come away with a third place finish in class on Sunday.”
