2026 BETA RR X-PRO: WHICH MODEL FOR YOU?

1 month ago | Words: Andy Wigan | Photos: Betamotor

A year ago, when Beta first unveiled their significantly evolved RR X-Pro models, they made two things very clear. First, the Italian manufacturer explained that these all-new X-Pro machines were specifically designed to offer consumers a better middle-ground between their XTrainer and RR Race models; that they’d stand on their own as a distinctive model, rather than simply being a ‘standard’ version of the up-specced RR Race models. And second, Beta made the point that 70% of their customer base would be best suited to an RR X-Pro model. And to reinforce the point, they went so far as to match the customer with the models by saying, “The X-Pro models are great all-rounders for those who ride a mix of singletrail, faster tracks and technical terrain, or for experienced enduro riders who ride for fun, but don’t push hard or race”. Which is throwing a very wide rider-profile net, right?

But if you fall into that 70% of riders Beta refers to, how do you then go about deciding which of the eight X-Pro models – four two-strokes (125/200/250/300cc) and four four-strokes (350/390/430/480cc) – are best suited to you? Well, here’s how Beta is pitching each of their refined 2026 RR X-Pro models

As always, the X-Pro range includes eight distinctive models for 2026, each designed to meet the needs of a diverse range of riders. Whether you’re a seasoned rider or new to the sport, there’s an X-Pro built just for you. What unites them all is their ability to inspire confidence and deliver a rewarding ride. Here’s a closer look at what sets each model apart:

THE TWO-STROKES…

RR125 X-PRO
The RR125 X-Pro is the smallest bike in the Beta range and is the lightest and easiest to handle. In pure racing style, it is suitable for both young riders coming up from smaller capacity bikes and for expert riders looking for a fun and light bike.

RR200 X-PRO
The RR200 X-Pro’s chassis set-up and engine are derived from the 125cc; it’s extremely lightweight and features great handling, but with significantly greater torque and power. Oil injection and an electric starter make this a complete bike, just perfect for enduro enthusiasts.

RR250 X-PRO
Ideal for riders looking for a two-stroke with a more docile temperament and with slightly less power and torque than the range-topping 300cc.

RR300 X-PRO
The biggest capacity in the RR X-Pro two-stroke range, the RR300 X-Pro is made for those who appreciate a carbureted big-bore two-stroke engine with significant and useable torque at any speed.

THE FOUR-STROKES…

RR350 X-PRO
The most manageable bike in the four-stroke range; it favours riding at high rpms while maintaining very progressive power delivery. Due to the reduced reciprocating mass, this is the lightest feeling four-stroke in the range.

RR390 X-PRO
The RR390 X-Pro represents the ideal mix of handling and power, with exceptional traction as its secret weapon. It features the light-weight feel of the 350, yet with added torque.

RR430 X-PRO
A high-performance engine which gives its best when using high gears and its impressive torque. The closest thing to off road four-stroke perfection.

RR480 X-PRO
The biggest capacity in the RR X-Pro range, the RR480 X-Pro four-stroke best expresses itself in wide open spaces. Its characteristics are similar to the 430 model but with even greater torque and power, it’s suitable for more expert and physically fit riders.
