In an epic display, Beta Motorcycles Australia hard enduro rider Ruben Chadwick secured the championship title at the 2023 Australian Hard Enduro Championship’s final round, held at the Goldfields Extreme in Bathurst, NSW.

During the event, challenging conditions prevailed. The terrain was exceedingly dry and dusty, and the rugged, rocky track tested the skills of both riders and their machines. Despite these gnarly challenges, Ruben clinched third place on the first day of the competition.

On the following day, Ruben started from the third position, but he executed a remarkable comeback in the challenging rock gully section, featuring imposing rock steps perfectly suited to his riding style. Negotiating this formidable terrain with finesse, he regained two positions. Throughout the day, he engaged in an intense battle with the top-three riders and steadily pulled ahead of the competition. The final lap witnessed Ruben navigating the track flawlessly, securing a well-deserved first-place finish on Sunday, thus cementing his championship victory for the 2023 AHEC.

After enduring five gruelling rounds of the AHEC, Ruben Chadwick and his RR300 Racing machine emerged as champions of the 2023 Australian Hard Enduro Championship.

Reflecting on his achievement, Ruben Chadwick shared, “It’s been a full-on year with three wins over five races, and to finish the year with the championship win is a great feeling. The RR300 Racing has performed perfectly all season and took all that I threw at it through the gruelling AHEC season. A lot of work has gone into this season to compete at this level, and I’m thankful to the Beta Motorcycles Australia team and our sponsors.”

Patrick Lowry, expressing his admiration for Ruben’s achievements, said, “A big congratulations to Ruben. He is always super-appreciative of the effort our team puts in and is super-easy to work with. He puts in the hard work behind the scenes training and has really focused his efforts on Hard Enduro this season. And it shows. We are proud to have him on a Beta and to have taken out the championship.”

The 2023 Australian Hard Enduro Championship comprised five intense rounds:
