What and who is GET exactly?
The GET brand identifies the electronics division of the Athena Group (specialists in high-performance motorcycle hard parts). Globally, GET is a leading manufacturer of aftermarket Engine Control Units (ECU), data acquisition systems and smart tools for two- and four-wheeled vehicles. In addition to the aftermarket sector, GET also has partnerships with major OEMs who rely on their expertise to develop electronic software and hardware products.

Queensland-based company, A1 Accessory Imports, is now the exclusive Australian importer and distributor of GET ECUs and performance accessories range.

What new products has GET recently released? And why is everyone so excited about them?
Late last year, GET launched their all-new, innovative SX1 PRO ECU range, designed as a plug-and-play replacement component for the main motorcycle manufacturers. And what’s likely to get a lot of people’s attention is that this new range includes replacement ECUs for KTM’s new-gen, TBI-fed two-strokes. Yep, GET just became the first electronics brand to offer a complete replacement ECU for the latest generation of fuel-injected two-stroke engines that were introduced to the KTM group’s brands (KTM, Husqvarna and GASGAS) in 2023 and 2024.

Sure. Here’s a bit more detail on each of the products list above…

SX1 PRO SERIES

The innovative SX1 PRO engine control unit unlocks the full potential of your stock engine and greatly improves performance across the whole power curve. They’re compatible with all injected engines, two-stroke and four-stroke, and are designed as a plug-and-play replacement for the main motorcycle manufacturers (such as KTM, Husqvarna, GASGAS, Honda, Yamaha and Kawasaki). And, as mentioned above, GET is the first electronics brand to offer a complete replacement ECU for the latest generation two-stroke injection engines introduced by the KTM group in 2023. Unique to the SX1 PRO Series is the inclusion of a multi-functional handlebar controller, WiFi Connect and Mobile App – all of which leads GET to claim:

CDI 2-STROKE

CDI is the ECU for two-stroke carburettor engines. It is the perfect device to optimise the management of the ignition curve and to maximise the engine’s performance. Thanks to new and updated firmware, GET CDI units manage the engine performance at high temperatures by adjusting the ignition curve after continuous and precise analysis of engine temperature. GET CDI is plug-and-play on standard engines and comes with a Mapping Switch with two pre-loaded maps: ‘Map1’ = Racing and ‘Map2’ = Wet Conditions. According to GET, this product is:

RX1 PRO BASIC SERIES

The RX1 PRO Basic range is easily identifiable by the green ECU and orange Mapping Switch combination. RX1 PRO Basic is an entry-level product that’s designed to extract the full potential from your motorcycle’s power delivery and timing at any engine speed, and it comes complete with two pre-installed racing maps. The RX1 PRO Basic ECU adjusts according to input data coming from the CPS (Cam Position Sensor), TPS (Throttle Position Sensor), MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure sensor), IAT (Intake Air Temperature sensor) and ECT (Engine Coolant Temperature sensor).
