Jay Marmont’s Not Finished
Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Jay Marmont had the MX season from hell this year. Finishing seventh Overall in the MX1 class, Marmont was ready to put the season behind him before it had even come to an end. The 30-year-old’s not done and dusted just yet, though. The No.1 red plate sits on his KX450F, and he’ll be more eager than ever to defend his Australian Supercross Championship title when this year’s series kicks off at Darwin’s Hidden Valley Raceway with a double-header round this weekend. With four consecutive MX titles already under his belt, Marmont will be aiming for his third consecutive SX title in 2013, and his fifth in total. Below, hear what he had to say when Transmoto‘s Andy Wigan caught up with him at Coolum’s MX Nats season finale.
