FIRST LOOK: BETA ALP & ALP X

1 year ago | Words: Matt Bernard | Photos: Betamotor

The Beta family is expanding its presence in the dual-purpose market by introducing two novel models inspired by the esteemed Alp 4.0. Beta’s technicians have crafted and conceived two entirely fresh iterations of this iconic model. Now, the Alp 4.0 and Alp X have arrived! Get the rundown from Beta below…

Both Alp 4.0 and Alp X are designed to offer the highest levels of rideability on all terrain types, but feature unique aesthetic and functional details given their different intended uses.

Beta Alp 4.0

Alp 4.0 is aimed at traditionalists linked to the brand’s off-road universe. The new Alp 4.0 is an agile, easy-to-ride bike, ideal for anyone who wants to approach the world of off-road riding in a fun and easy way.

Beta Alp X

Alp X is the model without precedent for Beta. It makes the Alp concept its own, bringing it closer to the more modern tastes of those who have rediscovered the world of scramblers.

The Beta Alp is well known for its ability to climb the most arduous tracks, while being equally at home on roads for daily urban commutes. Both MY2024 ALP models feature a 348cc EFI 4T DOHC motor that’s paired with a 6-speed gearbox and provides a linear power delivery. It’s created to go the distance on varying terrains thanks to its 21″/ 18″ wheels (Alp 4.0) / 19″/ 17″ wheels (Alp x), an 11 litre fuel tank, 43mm front forks, and a monoshock with adjustable spring preload.

Pricing and availability will be confirmed in due course.
