Dickson Replaces Wilksch at 2025 ISDE

There’s been a late change to Motorcycling Australia’s World Trophy team for the 2025 International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) in Italy later this month, with Beta Australia’s Jye Dickson named to replace injured Beta teammate Andy Wilksch. Wilksch injured his shoulder in a practice crash last weekend ultimately ruling him out of competing, and now Dickson has been named to make his ISDE debut in his place.

The 25-year-old will join fellow Yamaha Australian Enduro Championship presented by MXstore (AusEnduro) riders Daniel Milner (KTM) and Jonte Reynders in the World Trophy team, as well as the American-based Josh Strang (Beta).

Jye Dickson:
“I’m really excited to get the call-up for the Australian World Trophy team. It’s unfortunate that Andy is unable to go, so I wish him a speedy recovery. It will be surreal to represent Australia alongside some world-class riders, and I look forward to learning off them as I make my ISDE debut.”

Dickson, who rides for the Beta Australia Enduro Team alongside Wilksch, has been a formidable presence in the AusEnduro Championship since his debut in 2023. He was third in the E2 class in 2023, and then moved to E3 in 2024 and won the title.

This year, he’s pushing Korey McMahon to the limit in a mouth-watering E3 battle, as well as sitting fourth in the new ‘best of the best’ Pro class – which included a sensational victory at round six in Tintinara. Dickson’s also an experienced motocross rider, which will hold him good stead for the traditional motocross special test on day six of the ISDE.

Dickson will ride a Beta RR 430X-Pro in the ISDE, with Madison Healey (KTM) sharing Team Australia rookie status with the Novocastrian.

Healey will ride alongside Jess Gardiner and Danielle McDonald (both Yamaha) in the Women’s World Trophy, and in the Junior World Trophy Kyron Bacon (Kawasaki), Gus Riordan (KTM) and McMahon (KTM) will uphold Team Australia honour.
