2024 TRANSMOTO ENDURO EVENTS CALENDAR REVEALED

Righteo, folks, it’s that long-awaited time of year when your old pals over at the Transmoto fun factory unleash some ‘must do’ dates to stick in your 2024 calendar. Yep, time to start the convo with friends, riding crew and family and hatch a cunning plan for your next epic race-your-mates weekend because we’ve lined up a doozie of a year for you.

You’ll be happy to know the customary Transmoto event experience of hand-picked private properties, custom-built race loops and rib-tickling good times will be front and centre once again next year; fun-based events where you can race your mates aboard any type of dirt bike you like. We can’t guarantee she won’t be dusty, or muddy at times, but fingers crossed the chocolate-cake gods smile upon us in the new year. In any case, what we can guarantee is one hell of a memorable weekend away with your riding crew!

Here’s what it looks like (click on each Facebook event link below and hit “Going” to keep up to date with on-sale dates, event updates, etc):

2024 TRANSMOTO ENDURO EVENTS CALENDAR

Does one or more of the events in that line-up get your throttle hand twitching? We bloody hope so.

For those of you in the know, you’re probably asking a few questions about the 2024 calendar, so we hope this answers them:

WHERE CAN JUNIORS RIDE?

There’ll be a recreational loop for Junior frothers (9- through 15-year-olds) on Saturday afternoon at a minimum of three events in 2024: Cooby Dam (Qld), Clarence Valley (NSW) and Wangaratta (Vic.).

WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUNG?

Yes, we know, probably the best conditions for any Transmoto event this year and one of the greatest grasstracks we’ve ever delivered, Young will be taking a gap year in 2024. This property is so special, it will only run every two years, giving the land ample time to recover to its pristine condition. This means you’ll see the Young 8-Hour back on the calendar in 2025.

NO STROUD?

Yes, after five years at the notorious Gunns Gully location, it’s time to give the venue a well-earned rest and let the land regenerate. We cannot thank the Sundell family (Annmarie, Ian, Kim and Anne-Katrine) and the Boyle clan (Matt, Rick, Tracey and their friends and helpers) enough for their long-term support of this fantastic event. We are currently looking at some new locations in the Lower Hunter region, and will potentially return to the Gunns Gully venue when the time is right.

MIVA STATION OUT, COOBY DAM IN

Queenslanders will understandably be screaming about Miva Station not appearing on the calendar again for 2024, especially after the amazing conditions it dished up in 2022. Sadly, Gympie council still won’t budge on their demands for an exorbitantly high non-refundable application fee to host this event – in spite of the fact the 8-Hour’s riders tip in around $200K to their local community. So, until they reconsider their position, we won’t be heading back to that epic venue. The silver lining is that Cooby Dam is back on the menu for 2024, with the short jaunt up the hill to Toowoomba well worth the trip. Cooby hosted a Transmoto 8-Hour in 2021 and it was an absolute cracker of an event.

ARE WE MISSING OUT?

If you have a host property or know of landowners you reckon we should have a chat to, we are always on the look-out for potential event venues. Just drop us a line at getus@transmoto.com.au and we will be in touch.

Cheers,

– The Transmoto Crew
