Transmoto cleans up at the Publishers Australia Awards

Transmoto Dirt Bike Magazine has collected multiple category wins at the 2010 Publishers Australia Excellence Awards, staged Friday November 12 at Sydney’s Darling Harbour.

The first award came in the Cover of the Year — Consumer_ category for _Transmoto Issue #3. This was followed by the category win in Most Successful Subscriptions Campaign of the Year_. Transmoto then claimed runner-up position for _Launch of the Year, one of the Publishers Australia Awards’ marquee categories.

The room was full, as people from all over Publishing converged on this prestigious event.

“This has got to be unprecedented for a magazine that’s less than six months old,” said Transmoto’s Editor, Andy Wigan. “For the whole team of people involved, it’s really gratifying to see your ideas and hard work have such an immediate impact on the market, and to have that success validated by these prestigious industry awards. It’s a real pat on the back for the team involved in producing the magazine and the website that works so closely with it.”.

Transmoto would like to thank the entire team of contributors, suppliers, retailers and everyone involved in bringing the magazine and website to life.
