RUSH Adventure Tours operator, Lindsay Bond, has hand-picked a crew of fun loving larrikins that are just as good at sharing a joke as they are at coaching you through technical sections of trail. They’ll help you fix a problem with your bike, or pick you up and dust you off if you have a little mishap.

“At RUSH Adventure Tours we are one big fun loving family,” says Bond. “If you’re heading to one of our tours solo because your mates aren’t as enthusiastic as you are, after a weekend with us you will be sure to have a group of lifelong riding buddies from all over the country to swap stories with. We love to see the same faces return time and time again for more good times. If you do have a group of friends that always ride together, we can organise a private tour tailored to your group. We also incorporate other activities to further enhance the RUSH experience such as go-karting, skydiving and paintball, just to name a few.”

RUSH Adventure Tours caters for riders at all levels, whether it be a coaching session for a youngster who just got his first bike for Christmas, or a group of experts looking for a weekend of fast paced single trail in some of the best riding terrain our country has to offer.

“You can come along for a ride for an hour, or we can head off for the week on one of our all-inclusive tours,” explains Bond. “We can incorporate nice, easy flowing open fire trails, or encourage you to challenge yourself on tight technical single trails. Why not a mixture of both? It is entirely up to you.”

“All our tours include a lead rider that knows all the best trails, and can adjust the ride to suit the group,” continues Bond. “We practise the corner-man system to keep things safe, and always have a sweep rider that can help you with anything you need – from changing a flat to bracing a broken leg. We also have an amazing support crew that can not only collect a broken bike or rider from the middle of nowhere, but will put on a spread for lunch that is second to none!”

RUSH Adventure Tours is also up to date with the latest in riding gear, and always has a range of products on hand that you can ‘try before you buy’. Most importantly, though, the crew possesses local knowledge. Whether it be an alternate route around a flooded river, a way around a trail blocked by fallen trees, or a shortcut to the nearest main road or helipad in the event of an emergency, you can’t beat local knowledge.
