Ruben Chadwick Wildwood Rock Extreme
Over the weekend, Beta Motorcycles Australia’s hard enduro rider, Ruben Chadwick, travelled to Victoria for the final race of the year — the notorious Wildwood Rock Extreme. Following his 2023 win, Chadwick aimed to secure a back-to-back victory on his Beta RR300 Racing.
On Sunday morning, Chadwick kicked off his campaign with the prologue, held on a smaller, technical enduro-x style track. He clinched the win, ensuring a first-place start for the main event.
Leading the Gold Class pack, Chadwick displayed his skill and signature smooth style on the grueling course, filled with large boulders, steep hills, and loose rocks. The 2024 Rock Garden section was extended, which played to Chadwick’s strengths, allowing the Queensland-based rider to establish an impressive 8-minute lead in the first lap.
With unmatched stamina and determination, Chadwick completed the five-lap race in just 3 hours and 34 minutes, finishing an incredible 36 minutes ahead of runner-up Wade Ibrahim.
“Fitness and bike time has been a focus for me this year and I’m glad to see it pay off and to
come away with the win again at Wildwood. It was a very demanding track, but the conditions
suited me well, and I was able to put plenty of time between me and the other riders. The Beta
RR 300 Racing performed flawlessly all day, taking on all that I gave it throughout the race. Thank you to my sponsors for your support throughout the year.” – Ruben Chadwick
The 2024 Wildwood Rock Extreme marks the end of the race season for the Beta Motorcycles Australia Race Team. Beta Motorcycles Australia extends its gratitude to its sponsors and riders for their dedication and hard work throughout the year.
