New RR22 Livery For Ducati’s DesertX

If the motorcycle world looks to one event every year for a taste of what’s coming our way, it has to be the Milan-based EICMA show in Italy. As usual, this year’s show has unleashed a slew of new and wild concept models, but it was Ducati’s DesertX in a new, tough-as-all-hell black and red “RR22” livery that caught our attention first.

The RR22 was inspired by Audi’s RS Q e-tron that shredded the dunes in the last Dakar Rally and was seen for the first time sideways in the very capable guidance of Danilo Petrucci next to this Audi during its launch in Sardinia. Meaning, in the somewhat near future, you’ll have the choice of Matte Star White Silk or the new RS22 colourway. So, what’s your preference – white knight or black stallion?
