MOTOREX: Swiss Precision Meets Success

3 months ago | Words: Aaron Marks | Photos: Motorex

The family-owned Swiss lubricant specialists with 191 world titles and counting. For over a century, MOTOREX has been obsessively devoted to producing premium, motorcycle specific oils and lubricants. What started as a small operation has morphed into an undeniable global force in motorsport and now MOTOREX products are trusted to keep multi-million-dollar factory racing programs running at peak performance.

Now the brand is reflecting on one of its most successful seasons ever in global motorsport. Throughout the last 12 months, their products have been relied upon to secure no fewer than 16 prestigious titles, plus numerous podium finishes across world championship level motocross, enduro, trial, rally, and road racing. When it comes to winning, MOTOREX is the common denominator across the world’s top riders and championships – and here’s the proof!

Five different manufacturers used MOTOREX to claim world titles:

  • Dakar Rally Champion: Daniel Sanders (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing)
  • MXGP World Champion: Romain Febvre (Kawasaki Racing Team)
  • MX2 World Champion: Simon Längenfelder (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing)
  • EnduroGP Champion: Josep Garcia (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing)
  • Enduro2 Champion: Andrea Verona (GASGAS Factory Racing)
  • Enduro3 Champion: Hamish Macdonald (Sherco Racing Factory)
  • Hard Enduro Champion: Manuel Lettenbichler (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing)
  • SuperEnduro Champion: Billy Bolt (Husqvarna Factory Racing)
  • AMA 250SX East Champion: Tom Vialle (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing)
  • Moto3 World Champion: Jose Antonio Rueda (Red Bull KTM Ajo)
  • Top four MX2 riders? All on MOTOREX
  • Top five EnduroGP riders? All on MOTOREX
  • SpeedwayGP: Five of the top seven all on MOTOREX

It’s worth highlighting also that if the top four MX2 riders and all five EnduroGP podium finishers are running your product, someone’s gotta be doing something right.

Away from world championship competition, MOTOREX kicked off some exciting new partnerships in 2025. A fresh agreement with French motorcycle brand Sherco means every production bike rolls out of the factory filled with MOTOREX. Sherco Racing Factory benefitted immediately, scoring world titles in TrialGP and EnduroGP, plus a Dakar stage win and victory at round five of the FIM Bajas World Cup. Other partnerships include working with WorldSSP team Feel Racing on their Ducati machinery.

This month, the FIM SuperEnduro World Championship resumes, the AMA Supercross campaign begins, and as tradition, the infamous Dakar Rally kicks the year off in style. To celebrate all things Dakar, MOTOREX is currently in the final stages of editing a video documentary to be released alongside what will be the 48th edition of the world’s toughest rally-raid.
