Ken Roczen Injured at San Diego SX

Team Honda HRC’s Ken Roczen crashed hard in the 450 Main Event at Round 6 of the 2018 Monster Energy AMA Supercross series. From what the footage shows below, Roczen attempted an aggressive pass on Cooper Webb – after being block passed the corner before– but made a mistake and took Webb down with him. K-Roc got his right arm jammed between the swing arm and rear wheel of Webb’s machine.

Honda has stated that Roczen underwent a very early evaluation at the Alpinestars Mobile Medical Unit and a fractured metacarpal in his right hand was discovered. Roczen will have a full evaluation on Monday morning (USA time) to see if this is the full extent of the damage or if there is more damage done.

Here is the footage of the crash…

This is devastating news for K-Roc after rebounding back from the massive injury he suffered to his left arm last year. Stay tuned for updates.
