JEREMY SEEWER SIGNS WITH DUCATI
Jeremy Seewer will be one of the two official Ducati riders competing in the 2025 MXGP World Championship aboard the Desmo450 MX. Known for its dominance in road racing, with championships in MotoGP and World Superbike, Ducati is now expanding its legacy into off-road competition. The Desmo450 MX marks a major milestone for the Borgo Panigale manufacturer as it enters the fierce competition of MXGP, the premier motocross championship, on a full-time basis.
For Ducati, this move is more than just the launch of a new bike—it’s a bold statement of intent. After years of unrivaled success on asphalt, Ducati is eager to transfer its renowned engineering and racing pedigree to the dirt. With motocross legend Antonio Cairoli having recently made Ducati’s MXGP debut, the anticipation for the 2025 season is electrifying.
Seewer, the thirty-year-old Swiss rider has signed a two-year agreement (2025–2026) with Ducati. With a wealth of motocross experience, including being a two-time runner-up in MX2 and a three-time runner-up in MXGP, Seewer is the perfect ambassador for Ducati’s ambitious new venture. With five MX2 victories and eight MXGP wins to his name, Seewer currently sits fourth in the 2024 championship with two races remaining.
