DEAN FERRIS TAKES ON THE DON RIVER DASH

3 years ago | Words: Miller Mendham | Photos: Team Ferris

Following his recently announced plans to return to racing (after a short retirement), Dean Ferris has broadened his horizons by taking on the Don River Dash. And believe it or not, after two days and 300 kilometres of flat pinned desert-style racing, the three-time Aussie MX champ took home the win. What a baptism of fire! Could the 31-year-old Ferris be the next Ryan Sipes; a multi-discipline athlete who can take on anything with two wheels and a motor? Only time will tell.
