KTM is proud to introduce the next evolution of its LC4-powered legends – the 2026 KTM 690 ENDURO R and 2026 KTM 690 SMC R. Boasting bold styling, improved tech, and the most powerful single-cylinder engine available on the market, both machines are engineered for riders who live for the thrill – whether it’s carving through mountain roads or conquering remote trails.

2026 KTM 690 ENDURO R

The 2026 KTM 690 ENDURO R continues its dual-sport legacy with comprehensive updates that boost off-road capability and on-road refinement. At its heart is the latest Euro 5+ compliant LC4 single-cylinder engine, now featuring a revised crankcase, clutch, and stator cover, along with a redesigned oil system for enhanced reliability and improved performance.

For 2026, the KTM 690 ENDURO R gains a new 4.2” full-color TFT display, redesigned switchgear, a USB-C charging port, and an LED headlight. On the electronics side, Cornering ABS, Cornering MTC, and the all-new Dynamic Slip Adjust (available in the optional RALLY Ride Mode) provide riders with real-time, terrain-adaptive traction control. Ergonomically sharper bodywork and updated suspension components add comfort and feedback on both trail and tarmac.

2026 KTM 690 SMC R

The KTM 690 SMC R has long been the benchmark in the Supermoto world, and for 2026, it’s been sharpened even further. A new, aggressive design wraps around the frame, emphasizing KTM’s race-bred DNA. As with the KTM 690 ENDURO R, the updated LC4 engine delivers increased performance and efficiency, while refined suspension tuning enhances road feedback and agility.

Riders now get a host of tech upgrades, including a full-color 4.2” TFT display, upgraded switchgear, and lean-angle sensitive rider aids like Cornering ABS and Cornering MTC. Selectable Ride Modes and customisable ABS Modes ensure that the bike can be tailored to every riding style—from city backroads to full send at the track. Seamless smartphone connectivity is available via KTMConnect.

Both bikes benefit from a full range of KTM PowerParts and KTM PowerWear, allowing riders to personalise their machines and gear for maximum performance and style, taking full advantage of the world’s most ferocious single-cylinder platform. The 2026 KTM 690 ENDURO R and 2026 KTM 690 SMC R will be available at authorised KTM dealers in Australia and New Zealand from late Q4 2025.
