Crusty Demons first female FMX rider at Brisbane

The Crusty Demons have announced their first ever brother and sister freestyle motocross performance for the Thirst 4 Destruction Tour show in Brisbane this Saturday.

Australia’s first female freestyle motocross rider, Emma McFerran, will perform tricks alongside her big brother Matt, who is a regular on the Australian FMX scene.

Emma credits her brother for her entry into FMX and followed Matt to the Gold Coast to pursue her riding career.

This will be the first time the brother and sister have had the opportunity to perform together and the Brisbane stopover will be the only chance fans will get to see the duo in action.

Matt, who is able to ride due to a break in his performance schedule with Showtime FMX, said he was pumped for this weekend’s show.

“I’m really looking forward to performing with my sister for the first time ever,” Matt said.

“I’ve done tours in the past but this will be the first time I get to ride with Emma since I’ve been training her. It will also be the first time our mum has seen us ride together.

“I’ve heard good things about the show and I’m really excited to be a part of it and to be performing in front of a sell-out crowd,” he added.

The pair will perform in front of a capacity crowd at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre with both local and international riders, including Robbie Maddison, the Godfather of FMX Mike Metzger and, in his only Australian show ‘MM General’ Brian Deegan.
