Josh Hill announced as second team rider for RCH Racing

Having signed Broc Tickle as their first rider, RCH Racing has announced that Josh Hill will take up the second spot on the team aboard a 2013 RM-Z450. The formation of RCH Racing was announced prior to the Monster Energy Cup – a partnership joining Carey Hart’s Dodge/Sycuan Casino Racing team with Ricky Carmichael.

“I am really excited to welcome Josh back for a third season,” said Team Owner Carey Hart. “Josh has had a tough couple of years and it wouldn’t feel right if we didn’t support him with the major progress he has made. Josh and Broc will work well with Ricky, and we are going to see great things from the guys this year.”

For Ricky Carmichael, helping Josh get back to the level of racing he was at in 2009 is his goal. “I am excited to have Josh on the team,” said Carmichael. “He is still pretty young and we are looking forward to helping him get back to where he was in 2009 and getting him the results he deserves – to do that, we need to keep him healthy. He has great potential and a great attitude, and I look forward to working with him.”

“It feels great to be back with the Dodge/Sycuan Casino/Suzuki RCH Racing team this year,” commented Hill. “We’ve already been putting in a lot of hard work to get to us where we need to be at Anaheim 1. I’m looking forward to a great season.”

Look for Broc Tickle and Josh Hill wearing the Dodge/Sycuan Casino/Suzuki RCH Racing team outfit at Round 1 of the Monster Energy Supercross in Anaheim, on January 5, 2013.
