KTM AJMX REVEAL NEW LOGO FOR 2026
Motorcycling Australia has unveiled the new event logo for the 2026 KTM Australian Junior Motocross Championship, featuring the Wedge-tailed Eagle, as KTM Australia marks its 13th straight year as naming rights sponsor ahead of more than 300 riders descending on Shepparton this September.
The countdown to the 2026 KTM Australian Junior Motocross Championship (AJMX) has officially taken flight, with organisers unveiling a striking new event logo featuring Australia’s largest bird of prey – the Wedge-tailed Eagle. Set to swoop into Shepparton from September 28 to October 3, the AJMX will bring together more than 300 of the nation’s most promising junior racers for six days of elite racing. The new logo leans on the Wedge-tailed Eagle’s iconography as a fitting mascot for a championship that demands fearlessness, precision, and the ability to soar above the competition.

It’s also a milestone year on the sponsorship front, with 2026 marking KTM Australia’s 13th consecutive year as the championship’s naming rights sponsor – a run few events in Australian motorsport can match.
Motorcycling Australia CEO Peter Doyle said the logo captured the energy and ambition of the country’s premier junior motocross event, with preparations intensifying for a landmark championship in regional Victoria. The event will be hosted by the Goulburn Valley Junior Motorcycle Club in partnership with Greater Shepparton City Council, and is expected to draw a large contingent of visitors to the region – delivering a significant economic boost while shining a national spotlight on Shepparton.
KTM Group Australia Marketing Manager Rosie Lalonde reinforced KTM’s long-standing commitment to nurturing junior talent and the significance of the championship, noting that many of today’s ProMX riders began their journey at the AJMX – underlining the event’s role in developing future champions and strengthening the sport nationally.

Peter Doyle, Motorcycling Australia CEO:
“The Wedge-tailed Eagle is a symbol of power, freedom, and an unwavering competitive spirit; qualities we see in every young rider who lines up at the AJMX. We’re incredibly excited to bring the championship to Shepparton and to be working alongside the Goulburn Valley Junior Motorcycle Club, Greater Shepparton City Council and our long-term naming rights partner KTM Australia who have supported the championship for over a decade. With more than 300 of Australia’s best junior talent set to compete, the 2026 AJMX promises an unforgettable week of racing, a significant boost for the local community and a true showcase of the future stars of our sport.”
Rosie Lalonde, KTM Group Australia Marketing Manager:
“The KTM Australian Junior Motocross Championship remains one of the most important events on the Australian motocross calendar, and KTM Australia is incredibly proud to continue our long-standing support as naming rights sponsor. The unveiling of this year’s event logo provides a strong visual identity for the championship and reflects the strength, determination and soaring ambition of Australia’s next generation of motocross talent.
This will be the 13th year KTM Australia has been the naming rights sponsor of this championship, because we firmly believe in developing the next generation of Australian racers. This event is crucial for developing young riders talent, as it allows them to build lifelong memories and take important steps in their racing careers.
Many of today’s ProMX riders began their journey at the Australian Junior Motocross Championship, highlighting the vital role it plays in developing future champions and strengthening the sport across the country.
We’re excited to see this year’s championship head to Shepparton and look forward to working alongside the Club, Council and MA to deliver a fantastic event. We can’t wait to see Australia’s best junior riders put on a great show and take the next step in their racing journey.”
