KTM Motocross Racing Team’s Kirk Gibbs has been forced out of the remainder of the 2015 season, sustaining a broken hip while training this week. “I ended up in hospital with a couple of breaks in my hip, which is pretty painful,” said Gibbs via social media. “I’m so bummed because I felt like things were starting to click for supercross with a couple more solid weeks under my belt. I hate this but I’ll get a good break now and recover and come back hungrier for 2016!” Can’t wait to see you back in action, mate.

Daniel Milner, the man! The CDR Yamaha rider wrote himself into the record books last weekend by taking out his fourth consecutive Australian 4-Day Enduro (A4DE) title (as well as the E2 class win) in Tasmania. Milner’s fourth A4DE title sees him join Stefan Merriman as the second most successful rider in the event’s history behind six-time winner, Shane Watts. So, after under-performing in the 2015 Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) series in 2015, what should Milner’s next move be? Head back to the USA, and have another crack? Or, should he head to Europe and contest the 2016 Enduro World Championship? He did finish in second Outright at this year’s International Six Days Enduro (behind an American who won’t be racing the EWC next year), after all. Whatever happens, congrats on the fourth title, Doogs, and we wish you luck for the future.

KTM Enduro Racing Team’s Matt Phillips delighted his home fans in Tasmania at the A4DE, finishing second Outright and winning the E3 class. His KTM-mounted teammates, Daniel Sanders and Toby Price, finished in third and fourth Outright, while the top five was completed by Active8 Yamaha’s Josh Green (who was the winner of the E1 class). Leading from start to finish, Tayla Jones (Women’s), Damian Smith (Veterans) and David Fleming (Masters) wrapped up their respective class titles.
