7 years ago | Photos: Darkeye Photography

Close to 300 keen competitors from all over NSW converged on Dubbo for Round 4 of the 2018 East Coast MX Series on June 2-3.

With just one round remaining, riders are starting to take things seriously as valuable points – and ultimately championships – are on the line. The MX1 and MX2 classes were combined once again to contest four 20-minute + one-lap races. Husqvarna’s Jy Roberts completed a perfect 1-1-1-1 scorecard to win the MX2 class with ease, while Honda’s Joel Wightman was able to secure the MX1 victory. Other winners included Blake Fox (125cc and 250cc Junior Lites), Jake Barron (Clubman Lites and Clubman Open) and Cooper Dudley (9-U12 85cc).

The final round of the 2018 East Coast MX Series will take place at Maitland on July 21-22.

Detailed results and race highlights from Dubbo’s round can be found below.
