Yamaha Motor Australia put on an epic weekend for 30 Junior riders at the inaugural Yamaha YZ65 Cup in conjunction with Rounds 7 & 8 of the MX Nationals at the revamped MX Ranch track, northwest of Newcastle. It was a great opportunity for the kids to race on in front of a national crowd; pit under the Yamaha bLU cRU truck with mechanical assistance from factory technicians; hang out with two-time MX1 Champion, Dean Ferris; and race the all-new 2018-model YZ65 on the same track as the Pros. And Transmoto’s Jacob Pollard was on-ground at the event, testing out the new blue weapon and experiencing what the YZ65 Cup had to offer.
