Yamaha YZ65 Cup: Image Gallery

8 months ago | Photos: iKapture, Sal Aloisio

Yamaha Motor Australia put on an epic weekend for 30 Junior riders at the inaugural Yamaha YZ65 Cup in conjunction with Rounds 7 & 8 of the MX Nationals at the revamped MX Ranch track, northwest of Newcastle. It was a great opportunity for the kids to race on in front of a national crowd; pit under the Yamaha bLU cRU truck with mechanical assistance from factory technicians; hang out with two-time MX1 Champion, Dean Ferris; and race the all-new 2018-model YZ65 on the same track as the Pros. And Transmoto’s Jacob Pollard was on-ground at the event, testing out the new blue weapon and experiencing what the YZ65 Cup had to offer.
Stay tuned for our feedback on the YZ65, dropping soon. But for now, here are our favourite shots from the weekend…
