Cooper Webb is out for Atlanta SX

After Factory Yamaha’s Cooper Webb crashed hard in Minneapolis. He has announced via Instagram that he will miss the Atlanta round of the AMA SX this weekend to let his shoulder heal,  hoping to be to be back in time for the Toronto round next week.
Following last week’s crash, Webb currently sits eighth in the 450SX championship standings, so missing this weekend looks like it will put the season rookie out of title contention.

This is what Copper had to say:

Got lucky in many ways but still bummed I'm not gonna make the race that means most to me this weekend. Gonna miss Atlanta to let my shoulder heal but the plan is Toronto. Been doing therapy everyday with the boys to be back 👊🏼 @teamdrg @swanie387 @seth_rarick
