VIALLE & HAMPSHIRE TAKE 250SX RED PLATES

10 months ago | Words: Matt Bernard | Photos: KTM Images

The dynamic of an East/West showdown inherently carries the potential for significant AMA Supercross Championship shifts, as demonstrated vividly in Nashville. Both East and West 250SX red-plate holders, Levi Kitchen and Cameron McAdoo, crashed on the opening lap, resulting in the forfeiture of their championship leads. Consequently, after a solid second-place at the following rounds in Philadelphia and Denver, Tom Vialle of Red Bull KTM now commands a comfortable 15-point advantage entering the final round remaining on the East Coast, while Rockstar Husqvarna’s RJ Hampshire is tied with Levi Kitchen as we enter Salt Lake City, for the final round. Throw in some extra chaos, this is another East/West showdown!

Check out the highlights below from Rounds 14,15 and 16.
