When the weather bureau issued a three-day “severe weather warning” for a greater majority of NSW, they weren’t kidding. That three-day window just happened to coincide with the inaugural Transmoto 6-Hour, held on July 19. But instead of entrants having their enthusiasm dampened by the dire weather forecast, quite the opposite occurred. All 300 brought their tough game to the picturesque cattle station in the Lower Hunter Valley; they didn’t just tolerate the cold and slippery conditions, they revelled in them! And as a result, most said the 2015 Transmoto 6-Hour was one of the wettest, wildest and most enjoyable two-wheeled events they’d ever experienced.
