The Gold Coast Motocross club will meet with local councillors and media on Saturday to discuss extending the closure date and venue replacement options. Service Honda, based in the US, is world renowned for the production of their CR500AF, which features a CR500 engine skillfully grafted into the fourth generation CRF250R chassis. Using that technical know-how, they’ve now produced the CR250AFX. It to also uses the latest fourth generation CRF250X chassis with a 1999 CR250 engine powering it – an engine considered the best of Honda’s two-bangers. It’s effectively the two-stroke enduro machine Honda never built. Like the CR500AF, everything is customisable – from the handlebars to the exhaust porting.
