FIVE REASONS TO RACE A 2025 TRANSMOTO EVENT

4 weeks ago | Words: Jenna Post | Photos: Transmoto

There’s a good reason why over 4000 riders flock to Transmoto’s Enduro Events each year. With their laid-back and fun-focused atmosphere, our events have become a highlight on the Australian off-road calendar for both the seasoned racer and amateur rider. And while you don’t necessarily need an excuse to race one (or more!) of our events in 2025, here are five reasons why you should be lining up on our start lines this year, just in case you (or a mate you’d like to bring along, perhaps) need some convincing.

1. GET A TASTE OF AN OFF-ROAD EVENT

Our enduro events sit somewhere between a recreational trail bike rally and an enduro race, catering to riders with an average to advanced skill level. Whether you’re wanting some extra time training on the bike in a community-minded, non-competitive event, or want to dip your toes into the world of trail-riding in a safe and monitored environment, our events provide a platform for both.

Sunday’s race courses are one-off, custom-made 15-18km loops that take the average rider between 20 and 30 minutes to complete a lap of. Terrain is that of a typical trail ride – a challenging (but not intimidating) combination of bushland singletrack, creek-crossings, fire road and natural-terrain grasstrack sections, with ‘chicken line’ options for any particularly technical sections.

In a nutshell, there’s something for everyone.

2. ROADTRIP AUSTRALIA’S EAST COAST

With eight events lined up across 2025 that span from Queensland’s Sunshine Coast down to Eskdale in Victoria, you can take the ultimate road trip and get a taste of all the different landscapes Australia’s east coast has to offer along the way. From alpine country to golden-sand beaches, our events give you the opportunity to pack the ute, load the bikes up, and take off into the open road.

3. RIDE CUSTOM-BUILT TRACKS…

…on hand-picked properties! Our event locations are notoriously nitpicked. We scour Australia to find the best-of-the-best private-properties to hold our events and provide a unique and memorable experience for our competitors. While we can’t guarantee it won’t be muddy or dusty at times, we can guarantee that there will be an abundance of good times.

4. SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE

Whether you want to push your own limits and enter as an Ironman at one of our 8-Hour events, compete with a mate as Pairs, or relay with a Team-of-3 or Team-of-4 to ease the load, we have something for every type of competitor. In addition to our Sunday loop, our Saturday activities include a Ladies (16+) and Juniors (9-15) Loop, encompassing a shortened 6-8km length track which will appear at four of our 2025 events: Narrabri (NSW), Miva Station (Qld), Macleay Valley (NSW), and Eskdale (Vic).

5. A WEEKEND AWAY WITH YOUR MATES

Last, but not least, a great getaway with your closest mates doing the thing you love. Our dirt bike events are heavily community-minded and driven, and we want everyone to have a fun and positive experience. We foster an environment that encourages good sportsmanship, care and courtesy towards other riders whether that’s on the track, in the camping area, or on the access roads leading to and from the event venue. So fire up the group chat and hatch a plan for your next epic race-your-mates weekend because we’ve lined up an absolute killer of a year for you.

And a bonus reason, just because…

Catching up with your mates is important. And not just for five minutes at your kids’ soccer game. We’re talking about really taking the time to schedule in some stress-free, wholesome time away together, enjoying the simple pleasures of camping, chatting and riding dirt bikes with like-minded people.

While Transmoto’s Enduro Events are family-friendly and welcoming of dirt bike riders from all walks of life, we like to think that they also set the stage for men to catch up, and look out for one another. For some, attending a Transmoto event might be the sole weekend of the year that all the worries of everyday life are out window, even if only momentarily.

If any of this resonates with you, here’s what you can do…

Check out our 2025 events calendar and schedule at least one of them in. Call your mates, check in on them, and find that one weekend of the year — at minimum — to get together and enjoy yourselves. Run it by whoever you need to, and lock it in.

Tag your buddies in the comments and start making your plans to leave the stress of everyday life at home, and get together at the Transmoto 8-Hour at Tumut on April 12-13…

Trust us, you won’t regret it.
