THE WILSONS – RACING IN JAPAN

3 years ago | Words: Matt Bernard | Photos: YAMAHA

Aussie motocrosser, Jay Wilson, made a life-changing decision in 2022 by relocating his family to Japan. He seized a fantastic opportunity to race for Yamaha and also collaborate with the factory as a test rider. Since his move to Japan, Jay’s performance has been nothing short of sensational. In 2022, he dominated the 250 class, and in the 450 class, he remains undefeated so far this year. To stay updated with all the overseas action, Jay’s video content is a top-notch way to keep in touch. Meanwhile, his wife Misty and daughter Poppy have embraced a whole new life in Japan.

Check out part one and part two of “The Wilsons” to get a glimpse of their incredible journey!
