🎥 The Story of Daniel Milner

7 years ago | Words: Salvatore Aloisio | Photos: 6HD

After winning the 2013 AORC Championship (the first guy to ever win the AORC’s Outright title aboard a 250cc machine) and then running a close second to Toby Price in an injury-affected 2014 season, Daniel Milner headed to the United States to race GNCC. But his two seasons in America were way more challenging than he’d expected, and a broken leg spelled the end to his 2016 GNCC campaign altogether. But the likeable Victorian larrikin learnt from his mistakes and, after signing with the KTM Enduro Racing Team, came back to Australia to dominate the 2017 Australian Off-Road Championship; posting the AORC’s first ever perfect season en route to his second AORC Outright title.

Renowned off-road cinematographer, 6HD’s Ben McNulty, recently caught up with Milner to talk about his time in the US, his historic journey through the 2017 AORC series, winning the Hattah Desert Race, and his aspirations to return to America and take care of unfinished GNCC business. Check out this epic and candid insight into the character behind the off-road world’s number-one plate…
