A story of mateship, community and a brave boy who took on the hardest of fights and won. In February of 2019, Luka Monroe was doing what he loved most, riding his motorcycle with his mates. But only days later his family learnt Luka had a cancerous tumor the size of a large orange growing in his left kidney.ren with cancer, and bringing focus to those organisations that support patients and their families.
Luka went on to fight the good fight and ride his motorcycle once again, becoming an inspiration for many. This is his story…

International Childhood Cancer Day on February 15 (tomorrow) is a global collaborative campaign to raise awareness about childhood cancer, and to express support for children and adolescents with cancer, the survivors and their families.
