The end of Chad Reed’s 2015 season?

Discount Tire Racing/TwoTwo Motorsports rider, Chad Reed, has publicly stated that if MX Sports (AMA Motocross promoter) doesn’t allow him to run a 360 Fly (a ground-breaking new hel-cam that films in 360 degrees) on his lid at upcoming Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship rounds, he might be better off parking his bike and staying at home until 2016 rolls around.

GoPro, a sponsor of the series, alongside MX Sports, made officials remove the camera from Reed’s helmet at Thunder Valley, where he wore it in practice.

The new sponsorship deal between Chad Reed and 360 Fly is worth over half a million dollars, according to Reed.

“We race the Monster Energy Supercross and Ryan Dungey’s up there with a Red Bull can,” argues Reed. “FMF-sponsored outdoor series and Pro Circuit and everybody else gets to run stuff.”

I like my gopro. I upgrade every time a new one comes out, but if Reed pulls out I’m done. ill sell the gopro’s and find something else.

That doesn’t make sense to boycott GoPro because of this, it’s MX Sports that won’t let him run the camera…

Obviously gopro are throwing their weight around so yes it does make sense.

Absolutely asinine to ban Reed from wearing a Fly360. That’s like making all the teams use Lucas oil in their bikes, or making Red Bull sponsored teams cover their trucks, or leave them parked off site. AMA does this Hangtown 2015 will be the last national my family attends.

If the AMA wants to pay 22 motorsports (Chad Reed ) The $500,000 he’s going to lose every year until he closes down I’m all for it

Like everything in this cruel corporate world we live, all comes down to $$$$ let the man where whatever camera he wants. What’s next riding gear, Motorcycles? ??

Need to let reed ride with it! Make a deal go pro not exclusive to every rider

They should let Chad wear the 360 camera. We want to see him on the track. He needs the sponsor’s. Go Chad.

He’s a privateer rider. He uses his own money to make a team and get himself to the races. If someones is willing to sponsor someone for half a mil to help them out, especially a privateer rider then it shouldn’t even be questioned. I don’t think anyone should get special treatment but Reed’s been around for more than most riders and is definitely one of the favorites so they should understand his situation, but it should go for everyone. It’s very ignorant and inconsiderate for them.

They should let chad be a unicorn
