TESTED: HUSKY NORDEN 901 EXPEDITION

Ever since Husqvarna’s Norden 901 appeared as a concept bike at Europe’s EICMA show back in 2019, the thing has sure generated a bunch of hype. And why wouldn’t it? After all, this machine represents Husky’s first genuine foray into the adventure bike market. But it’s fair to say that the Norden 901’s recently released up-specced version – the Norden 901 Expedition – has taken that hype to an all-new level.

So, what up-specced and additional components does the 901 Expedition come with? Can its $2000 price tag premium over the ‘standard’ model be justified? And does this machine’s bolstered off-road capabilities come at the expense of tarmac touring comfort?

To answer those questions and more, we took a couple of Norden 901 Expeditions for a three-day … well, expedition … on some of the NSW south coast’s best tarmac twisties and off-road trails.
