Super X Round 2, Canberra Information

Round 2 of the Super X takes place tomorrow night at the Canberra Stadium. Format: the Triple Challenge. The riders: all the usual favourites plus a few USA guys in the mix, including Justin Brayton, Josh Hansen and Mike Alessi.

Track

The 439 metre track features a 65 metre starting-straight, a 37 metre woops section, and 27 jumps! It’s all about technical riding at this event. A special featute of the track will see a tricky sand section before the finish line. Put it all together and we should some competitive riding going on as riders vie for first place.

Race Format

Format: Triple Challenge

Open riders will compete in 2 x 8 lap heats and Lites in 2 x 6 lap heats. Positions 1 to 9 will progress direct to the final.

The final will consist of 3 x 7 lap races in the Open class and 3 x 8 lap races in Lites, with points awarded for each race and accumulated to find a winner.

How to get there?

The Canberra round will be held at the Canberra Stadium, situated on Battye St, next to Fern Hill park. Looking at the map above, the stadium isn’t far from the heart of Canberra, just a short drive off of the Federal Highway.

If your still after tickets to the Canberra round you can buy them online. General Admission tickets will set you back $59.00 for an adult (over 15) and $39.00 for a child (2-14). All the action is set to kick-off at 6:30pm sharp.

Can’t make it to the track? The event can be seen tomorrow night, live on Fuel TV at 7:30pm. Or you can see it delayed on Fox Sports 3, at 8:30pm to 10:30pm.
