Review: Bell MOTO 9 Helmet
A product the Transmoto team has tried and tested, and would recommend to a mate…
WHAT IS IT?
The MOTO 9 is the latest incarnation from the iconic helmet brand, Bell, who’ve made a welcome comeback after a strange spell in the wilderness. It’s a high-end lid that features improved safety, ventilation, comfort and performance over its predecessors.
HOW WE RATE IT:
With its stylish lines and simple but striking designs, Bell’s new Moto 9 is a damn good-looking helmet with a quality finish throughout and a durable paint job. More importantly though, it’s one of the most comfortable helmets on the market and offers a good fit for a wide range of head shapes. The composite shell ensures it’s both strong and lightweight, and the magnetic tabs used to fasten both the cheek pads and chinstrap are effective and convenient (both as a safety feature and when it’s time to remove and wash the liner). Our only gripe? The peak snags your goggle strap easily and needs to be securely fastened to prevent it moving. A tough, reasonably priced, gimmick-free helmet.
