Product: Force Radiator Guards

A dozen hours aboard our 2016 FC450 taught us a lot about the new-generation motocross machine. But what are the best bolt-on parts and performance mods that make the sweet Husqvarna even better? Here’s our take on the Force Accessories Billet Radiator Guards we installed.

The standard plastic radiator louvers on the FC450 are really cleverly designed because, in addition to promoting airflow, they also offer decent structural support to the radiators against damage from side impacts. But we wanted to give the FC’s radiators even more protection, so we fitted a set of Force Accessories’ Billet Radiator Guards. Machined from a single piece of 6061 billet alloy, the Force guards are quick and easy to fit and offer excellent protection against both side and frontal impacts, without inhibiting airflow. According to the guys at Force, these things are in such high demand (for 2016 Huskys and KTMs) that they just can’t make enough of them.
