MSC Matrix Steering Damper competition winner

We’ve selected a winner for the MSC Matrix Steering Damper and Mounting kit competition, which readers entered by becoming a Transmoto.com.au member.

Steve Munro from Victoria is the winner of the MSC Matrix Steering Damper.

Valued at over $600, the steering damper is smaller, lighter and has more adjustment than previous MSC models. It features a HSi valve, which is a “high speed impact” valve, which means when the damper is on a lower setting on the main dial it will still pick up harsh impacts to the front wheel like tree roots, ruts, or rocks.
Like previous models, it has an eight-position main adjustment, but now includes an additional three setting on the “return to center” dial – six in total.

Available in Down Under and Top mounting, the Down Under mount system allows for two positions – unlike other systems that have a fixed position under the bar mounts. There are kits available for most modern bikes.

The Top Mount Steering Damper kit is $595 (including delivery and GST) while the Down Under Steering Damper kit is $645.

For more information about the damper kit, or to order, head to MSC’s official website.
