KTM INTRODUCE NEW 390 ADVENTURE RANGE

2 years ago | Words: Jenna Post | Photos: KTM

Made for long-distance riding across a variety of terrain, KTM has announced their all-new 2025 390 Adventure range – providing riders with a versatile riding experience thanks to, partly, an updated LC4c powerplant providing smooth and uninhibited power, along with adventure-ready suspension and wheel and tyre packages prepped for on-road and off-road riding.

Light, nimble, and fully capable, the highly-anticipated 2025 KTM 390 Adventure R is the most off-road capable small capacity adventure bike to date. Boasting a true rally-inspired design, a completely new chassis, long-travel suspension, and a 21/18” wheel split, it holds every right to its ‘R’ badge.

The 2025 KTM 390 Adventure X is an even more approachable alternative to the KTM 390 Adventure R. Equipped with a lower seat height, cast wheels, an LCD dashboard, ABS, and a unique CTG, the Adventure X provides a great alternative for riders looking for an affordable entry into the KTM Adventure realm.

Taking design cues directly from the Rally ranks, both models boast a slim and compact body profile, a rally-inspired instrument tower, a compact 14L metal fuel tank, LED lights at each end, and hardy fairings.

The new 2025 KTM 390 Adventure R and KTM 390 Adventure X will hit showroom floors in Australia from July 2025 onwards, while the new 2025 KTM 390 Adventure R will hit New Zealand floors from April 2025. The KTM 390 Adventure X will be unavailable in NZ.
