KTM 2026 AUS PROMX ROSTER RELEASED

KTM Racing Team has launched their roster for the 2026 Australian ProMX Championship, with Nathan Crawford and Zac Watson to contest the MX1 category, joined by Byron Dennis and Dylan Walsh in the MX2 division.

Crawford aboard the KTM 450SX-F was exceptional throughout the eight-round ProMX season this year, delivering seven overall podium finishes on his way to taking the MX1 title fight down to the finale at Queensland Moto Park, where he ultimately earnt P2 in the standings. Having first signed with the KTM Racing Team in 2022, next year will mark 28-year-old Crawford’s fifth year within KTM’s official motorsport program.

Nathan Crawford:
“I’m pleased to have signed on for my fifth season with the KTM Racing Team. We’ve built a really strong relationship over the past four years, and we learnt a lot throughout the 2025 season, setting us up for what should be a big 2026!”

A new addition to the KTM Racing Team, Watson was a revelation throughout the ProMX Championship in 2025 – finishing fifth overall in the final MX1 standings. With experience on his side in the premier class, the talented 21-year-old is a welcome addition to KTM alongside Crawford on the KTM 450SX-F, and is aiming to further his professional motocross career.

Zac Watson:
“I can’t wait to go racing with the KTM Racing Team! It’s been a goal of mine for a very long time now, and I’ve had a good relationship with Kyle Blunden over the last couple of years, so being able to work with him and the team is something I’m really excited about. We’ll get into training now and aim to come out swinging next year.”

Teenager Dennis will enter his second season with KTM Racing Team, after a solid ProMX MX2 campaign resulted in the 19-year-old claiming fifth in the standings outdoors. The 2023 National MX3 Champion will target further success in the professional ranks next year on the KTM 250SX-F.

Byron Dennis:
“I’m looking forward to 2026! Coming off a full year of racing this season with the KTM Racing Team, we made some really good progress, and I’m ready to roll that into next season and keep progressing. I’m confident we can have a good, solid year and push closer to the front.”

Also in the MX2 class, longtime international Walsh will remain with KTM Racing Team for 2026 after initially joining the team for the AUSX Supercross Championship this year. Born in the United Kingdom and raised in New Zealand, the 28-year-old is a strong addition alongside Dennis.

Dylan Walsh:
“I’m stoked to be joining the KTM Racing Team full-time. The previous few years, I’ve been racing in a bunch of different series, so I’m really excited to lock in and focus on one championship with KTM in Australia. I get along with everyone on the team really well, so it’s a very exciting time for me.”

In addition, KTM Racing Team will continue to support development prospect Jackson Fuller, who will once again contest the MX3 class in ProMX as the 17-year-old continues to sharpen his skills racing the KTM 250 SX-F.

Kyle Blunden – KTM Group Australia Motorsport Manager:
“We’re thrilled to be announcing the 2026 KTM Racing Team, and I’m incredibly excited about the strength and depth of this lineup. In MX1, Nathan Crawford continues his quest for success with us and is joined by an exciting young prospect in Zac Watson. Both riders are hungry for wins, both with results on the board, and both are absolutely capable of taking the fight to the front. In MX2, Dylan Walsh and Byron Dennis bring a brilliant balance of experience, raw speed, and genuine championship potential. And in MX3, Jackson Fuller continues his progression with us after showing incredible potential this season, and we’re looking forward to seeing him take another big step in 2026. We’ve got one more Australian Supercross round to execute this weekend in Adelaide, and the entire crew is fully focused on finishing on a high note, but once that flag falls for the final time in 2025, it’s full focus into 2026.”

The 2026 Australian ProMX Championship will again span eight rounds, with the KTM Racing Team lineup of Crawford, Watson, Dennis, and Walsh on-track for the first time together at the Wonthaggi season-opener in Victoria between March 21-22.
