James Stewart’s Anaheim 1 Crash

Yoshimura Suzuki’s James Stewart goes down hard chasing Red Bull KTM’s Ken Roczen for the lead during the 450SX Class Main Event at Anaheim 1.

Roczen went on to win the opening round of the 2014 Monster Energy AMA Supercross series, ahead of teammate Ryan Dungey, Discount Tire Racing’s Chad Reed, Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Ryan Villopoto (who also crashed during the Main Event) and Team Honda Muscle Milk’s Justin Barcia. Australia’s Matt Moss finished in 13th. In the 250SX Class, Rockstar KTM Racing’s Jason Anderson won the Main Event ahead of Troy Lee Designs/Lucas Oil/Honda’s Cole Seely and Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki’s Dean Wilson. Australia’s Dean Ferris finished in 14th.
