Inaugural Dirt Shark Biggest Whip Contest Announced

X Games Best Whip? Who cares… Dirt Shark just announced the inaugural ‘Biggest Whip’ contest, set to take place alongside the 2013 Monster Energy Cup at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas, October 19. While the trash talking has already kicked off, as you’ll see in the video below, it won’t matter in the end – the winner of this contest will NOT be decided by fan-voting via Twitter. Big names such as this year’s X Games Best Whip Gold medalist Josh Hansen, Jeremy ‘Twitch’ Stenberg, Todd Potter and Edgar Torronteras have already earned their place to compete. Ten riders are left to fight for one of three spots up for grabs in the Main Event, including Australia’s Jarryd McNeil, Robbie Maddison and whipping-sensation Brett Cue.
