When was the last time you checked your bike’s steering head bearings – let alone re-grease and/or re-tension them? A while, right? In which case, why not take a frothie out to the garage right now and give your mechanical mistress’ steering head a little TLC?!

Disassembling, greasing and re-tensioning your bike’s steering head bearings is a DIY job that ought to be within reach of all dirt bike owners. So, let’s walk you through the eight key steps of the job…
